Technical Engineering Manager Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Engineering manager with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: (Hybrid) on IL, AZ and TX - USA Responsibilities * Lead engineering efforts, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance of the application. * Collaborate on architectural discussions, offering a clear technical vision and best practices. * Define technical standards and acceptance criteria for engineering work. * Oversee sprint progress, facilitating agile processes to achieve sprint goals. * Evaluate and challenge technical solutions, guiding the team to select the best approach. Qualifications * Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - certification is preferred. * Knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Angular, even if not coding hands-on. * Proficiency in architectural design and cloud-native design principles. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Rally (for story tracking), and CI/CD tools (CircleCI, JFrog, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker). *Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future* Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/20/2024 The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
